For a new high school thrower, 41'6" is a great start! Keep working at it and most of all, have fun with it. If you're in the US, you'll probably start being competitive in meets when you get to 45 - 50' and above 50' people start thinking you're pretty good. It's a long road, but it's worth it. Good luck!
