If anyone has problems with the registration process or activation after the registration, please use "The Ring" chat function or use our contact form (check link on the bottom left).
Throwholics gently suggests folks use their real name rather than an anonymous handle. People like to know who they're talking to. But either works. Also, you can use spaces for your username.
On the very left side there is a button "Login or register". While pressing this Button a Login/Register popup appears (see picture 2)
The user has now three options to get into SOCIAL.THROWHOLICS.
1&2. Option to register:
Third-Party Login Facebook or Twitter
The most convinient option is the Third-Party Login via Facebook or Twitter. If one of these accounts is already available the user has only to click on those. One will be forwarded to Facebook/Twitter to accept and one has to press the OK button. After that one will be redirected back to social.throwholics.com and everything except for an E-Mail address will be filled out automatically. One has to press OK again and then the user will receive an E-Mail with the confirmation code. After using this one you are part of the SOCIAL.THROWHOLICS and can make use of all available features.
With the help of the Third-Party Login one has only to do the registration part once, after that on clicks on either login with Facebook or Twitter.
Normal registration form
The third option to register would be to type in a username (your Name with spaces is fine) and hit the register button. Then a new page will open to make a proper registration. There the user has to fill out a username, E-Mail, Password, answer the security question, type in the captcha and then you are done. You will receive an E-Mail with an explanation to activate your account.
While using the second place "Register Now" the user will be forwarded to the registration process seen in picture three.
The third and last place to register, offers actually the same options as already described.
There are two hyperlinks "Facebook and Twitter Login" which can directly be used to login.
If one hits the register button a disclaimer will be shown and after accepting this one the registration process starts again.
if one hits the login button, the previous shown popup to register/login will be displayed as a full page.
